Well this post is for my memory book. Sorry I know you all read this blog for the twins, but it is also a way for me to keep track of my memories as well. Eventually this whole blog will be in print for our family and friends to enjoy, so it will be nice to see that Brian and I were still having fun in the midst of our wonderful chaos! This was a festival at The Woodlands Pavilion put on by Rockstar called Uproar. The line up included Bullet For My Valentine, Three Days Grace, Seether, and Avenged Sevenfold. It was very much rock & roll and I very much enjoyed it!
What a great concert! The best thing about it was how good the sound was. We sat at the very top of the hill and we could still rock out! We got to the show late because it was pouring down, but we made it in perfect time for Jack Johnson. He added in so many unique aspects like a hawaiian singer named Paula Fuga that is traveling with him. She sang a song called the "country road" that was so beautiful. Then there was the accordion he added in to my favorite song "banana pancakes" featured in my short video below...that was so awesome and my favorite moment. "Flake" rocked out and was one of the best songs of the night.
On top of everything that Jack did to make the night special he had these cool backdrops of ocean scenes, underwater, waves, hawaiian country roads, and starry skies. What a beautiful night to spend with my best friends and husband! One day we all will see Jack live in Hawaii but until then this concert was a perfect midpoint!
