Eden & Pryscilla,
My sweet baby girls, today is your 11 month birthday. In just one month you will be 1 year old. I find myself quite sentimental today. I watched a few videos from when you were born and looked back at all of your preemie pictures. It's hard to believe how fast time has flown by since I found out I was pregnant with the two of you. Life keeps changing at such a fast rate that time doesn't even feel the same as it use to. It's difficult to keep up and even harder to try and savor the moments in between. I feel like I have though. Between feedings, diaper changes, naps, and bedtime I have been able to stop in the midst and just enjoy your two smiling angel faces. When that feeling comes over me, the one when time seems to stop for a second, I have tried to be diligent in grabbing my camera, so we can look back at all of the memories together one day. I remember like yesterday bringing you home with your monitors, feeling like I was carrying 4 babies around. I hated attaching the leads under your arms, but eventually that very thing I hated so much is how God ended our time with the monitors. I am so thankful for them though, there were many moments they saved us all. I just had to take a break from writing this because you were both standing up in your crib crying, not wanting to take a nap. But as soon as I laid you down you both were out! Sometimes you get "stuck". Anyway, I hope this blog ends up being better than any traditional baby book, because I have not been good keeping up with those. I am so thankful for the healthy progress and growth that you've both made. Sitting, crawling, eating, playing, starting to say words. Your dad and I both knew long before you were here that you would be two strong little girls. During the pregnancy you little mo-di twins were fighters who shared-all of your food and space very well. So at 11 months you may be wondering what you are doing. You both have just started to stand. You are crawling all over the place. I have to section off the house to give you some boundaries. You are both wonderful eaters! I'm still feeding you formula and mostly baby food with a little dry cereal on the side. You love your mum-mums and today you ate eggs with me and daddy. You loved them. This morning we called your Great Grandma, Mema, and we sang you are my sunshine to the both of you. It was very special. You sleep 12 hours at night and take 2 naps a day. You play with each other, smile, and laugh at each other every day. The bond you two are developing is the most amazing love I've witnessed so far in life. On a daily basis I thank God for choosing me! I feel extremely blessed to have had MY life interrupted with YOURS. Everything has changed and that purpose I was always searching for before you came along has been fulfilled and words cannot describe it! The best I can do is...Eden and Pryscilla you are my double slice of heaven. I love you both so much. Happy 11th.
